As a ticket for admission to Namhansanseong Fortress, the contents of adults (19 to 64 years old), adult groups (30 or more), youth (7 to 18 years old), and youth groups (30 or more) are provided

Reduction of the Admission Fee for the Temporary Palace at Namhansanseong Fortress

Ordinance No. 5942 on the Operation of the Namhansanseong World Heritage Centre (enacted on October 1, 2018)

The following persons will not be charged an admission fee:

  • Children under 6.
  • Senior citizens over 65. However, they must present proof of their identity.
  • Residents of Gyeonggi-do Province.
  • Teachers of elementary, junior, and high schools (including kindergarten and childcare facility teachers) who accompany their students as part of an educational activity.
  • State guests and members of diplomatic missions, as well as accompanying persons.
  • Persons including civil servants who enter the facility to perform public duties.
  • Persons who fall under any of the following:
    • Any person falling under Article 86, Clause 1 of the Enforcement Decree Of The Act On The Honorable Treatment Of And Support For Persons Of Distinguished Service To The State, and a bereaved family member or guardian.
    • Persons of distinguished service to the May 18 Democratization Movement and a bereaved family member or their guardian according to the Act On The Honorable Treatment Of Persons Of Distinguished Service To The May 18 Democratization Movement And Establishment Of Related Organization.
    • Persons who have performed special missions and a bereaved family member or guardian according to Act On Compensation To Persons Who Performed Special Missions.
    • Persons with disabilities pursuant to the Act On Welfare Of Persons With Disabilities, and their guardian.
      ※ This applies only to persons whose car displays a disability permit, and who carry their registration certificate.
    • Persons selected for honorable treatment for prestigious military service families according to the Ordinance on the Honorable Treatment of and Support for Prestigious Military Service Families in Gyeonggi-do Province, and one member of their family.
  • Persons wearing traditional clothes such as hanbok.
  • Soldiers.
  • Persons who carry a tour guide qualification, such as a tourism worker qualification, according to Article 38 of the Tourism Promotion Act, and who enter the facility to lead and guide a group of tourists.
  • Other persons as recognized by the provincial governor.

Military personnel (excluding reserve forces) / Verification card required when not wearing military uniform

Soldiers (excluding reservists).※ They must present their ID when not wearing military uniform.

Licensee of Tourism Guides / Guide to Group Visitors under the Tourism Promotion Act

Persons who carry a tourism worker qualification.※ Tour guides of tourist groups pursuant to the Tourism Promotion Act.

The following persons will receive a 50% discount on the parking fee:
  • A family with two children or more who are under 18 years of age pursuant to the Child Welfare Act.
  • A person who is chosen as a compliant taxpayer in accordance with the Ordinance on the Selection and Support of Compliant Taxpayers in Gyeonggi-do Province.
  • Customers of the shops selected by the Resident Autonomy Evaluation Committee, from among the shops inside Namhansanseong Fortress.
